Our Raw Material: A Modern Approach To Ancient Wisdom
Get Started Here...
Food Week: Our mental framework is made up of the ways we have been nurtured and supported throughout our lives. There are four main areas where we can evaluate our experiences: emotionally, spiritually, mentally and physically. They each contribute to the overall mindset that we operate within, making our own raw material uniquely different from anyone else's. When we understand that at a base level, we allow the space for understanding what the people around us need and why they need it, because we have explored that for ourselves.
Try this at home: Working with the idea of spiritual nurturing, spend a little time evaluating your belief system. Do you subscribe to a specific doctrine, and if so, how strongly? If you pull your spiritual connections from all over the place, try to determine where the strongest roots formed, and who (if anyone) helped guide you towards them. Simply becoming aware of how we take care of our own personal spirit gives us the time and space to recognize what, if anything, it needs right now.
