Our Raw Material: A Modern Approach To Ancient Wisdom
Get Started Here... All it takes is your own thoughts
Ignorance Week: Our bodies belong to us, but they still remain a mystery in so many ways. The practice of Medicine, designed to care for our bodies, is called a practice for a reason. The individual human experience plays a much bigger role in our overall health than we generally allow, but that is only because we rarely stop to consider that the majority of knowledge is unknown to any of us. Our beliefs systems are built into our physical framework from a combination of all of the things we personally encounter, and the unique part of the official line of consciousness (OLOC) that reaches each of us, intellectually.

Try this at home: It's a challenge to find respect for ignorance, especially when it seems willful. Pay attention to how often you define another person with a very limited view of who they really are. Examples: (Enter name or description) is a jerk. (enter name or description) is beautiful. (enter name or description) is stupid. Positive or negative, those descriptions fail to convey any true knowledge -- just a vaguely formed judgement from a subjectively removed opinion.
